"Here is what I remember:
1975 Chev short bed pickup, 454 cu in with 4 barrel carb, Silverado trim and interior, silver body with white panels, blue interior. Would jump around a bit at 120 mph (there was no kilometers back then) so I built a wooden covered box to set over the rear axle and put 350 lbs of rocks in it. This stopped the jumping and I could reach 160 mph very smoothly. It had duel tanks which was a good thing because I could actually see the gas gauge move when moving at 160 mph."
From what I remember he said he was dating the girl whose dad owned the dealership so he got to pick all the extras and have the truck built at the factory and sent to him at the dealership. Bran spankin' new.
Thanks Dad!
