MID STAR IN A LATE 40s FRAME

So it takes some work and thinking to put a mid-star hubbed wheel and matching hydraulic drum on a late 40's rigid frame...

To get the chain-line looking proper took some more work than expected.  First, I plasma cut the teeth off an old used drum brake sprocket.  Next cleaned up the cut, lined up the holes and TIG welded it to the new sprocket.  This should give me the alignment I am looking for.  

Only a few more little things needed and the shovel will be enjoying all this sun we have been having...
